40 Days of Life, Kick-off Rally

There will be a Kick-Off Rally for Boise's "40 Days for Life":

Sun. Feb. 19th,
2:00-3:15 pm,
St Mary's Parish Social Hall (school gym).

... but wait ... before you say "what? on a 3-day weekend?" or "that's
the Hallisey Tournament" -- please know we did consider all that.  But
remember we need the rally to be very close to the first day of the
campaign, and

the night before Lent starts (Tues) sees Mardi Gras gatherings at
several churches,
Monday night is a school night,
so sometimes we just say "there is NO perfect time..." and
hope that Sunday can be a high priority for all you prayer warriors for life!

PROGRAM - To entice you, the Core Team has put this together:

Opening prayer and remarks by one of our priests
Short orientation on the "do's and dont's of prayer warrior-ing" at PP
on State Street
Short skit by the Lets-love-m-all-players on "how to respond to
antagonists" [:-)]
Remarks by Brandi Swindell - "the Stanton Clinic Vision"
Showing of the "180" DVD (30 min) -- this is rated PG-13 so a young
peoples' movie will be shown in another room.

After the rally, if anyone wants to stop by PP to pray the Divine
Mercy Chaplet, some have already mentioned a desire to do that, so all
are welcome.

Will you calendar it and join us?  We will be ready for you to start
signing up for your weekly hour of prayer for life!
